Hello,
I know that, in order to place an international call from Russia one must dial 8, wait for a new dial tone and then dial 10. But how do you send a text message considering the fact that there are no dial tones involved when texting?
Thanks. |

| Just use '+', followed by the country code and mobile phone number. |

| Which provider do people use? I'm just thinking about how much international texting will cost me. |

| In Russia I use "Smarts" - I seem to recall it was about 25p (40c) per international text. |

I have come across www.FishText.com. It allows you to send messages from your phone for under 2p. It requires an internet connection so your service provider will charge for data costs, but from looking at the website, those charges are a fraction of a penny.
I think i will give it a go, see what i think |
