Does anyone know how many trains run in a week from Beijing to Ulan Bataar. I would like to get there on the 10th in time for the Naadam festival but not too much earlier than that. Do trains run daily? Any type of train from any country would be ok it doesn't matter. Thanks.

I think they run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, at least the CITS (China International Travel Service) website said so. You`d better get on with buying your ticket, as I bought mine some weeks ago in the CITS in Beijing and the date I wanted to go was already sold out. (and that was 1 month before my departure and 1 month is the maximum period you can buy the ticket from before!!!!!!) and around Nadaam tickets are even harder to get!!!
