To Whom it May Concern:
I am considering moving to Yaroslavl for a couple years because my wife would like to finish her college there, where she is from.
Two questions:
How much can I expect to pay per month for an apartment there (doesn't have to be anything fancy)?
Also, would I be able to work in Russia (I am an American citizen), or do I need some kind of special permit? Ideally I would like to study the Russian zapovedniki wilderness system.
Thank you very much for your time. |

1. 150 bucks a month for a 2-room in central Yaroslavl. Have a friend go through Iz Ruk V Ruki for you.
2. Don't bother. Most people in Yaroslavl make less than 200 bucks a month. Save up some money doing temp jobs and then just coast or do freelance term paper writing on the internet while you're there. |
