Romania also has a large dog population. Wild dogs are everywhere in Bucharest, the US consular travel advice even describes the dangers of catching rabies there.

hmm any of you doglovers interested in 2 or 3 dogs;) the ones i'm with in the house today are rather noisy and getting on my nerves. shipping them to russia (well.. anywhere) might be a solution.

they don't have rabies, but the oldest one is demented and won't stop barking

Let me emphasize one espect of having a dog in Russia already mentioned by some people on this board - you don't have to pick up after your dog. In America, you have to pick up all the "good" your dog produces or face severe fines. Although on Brighton Beach in New York City many people don't pick up after their dogs disregarding the law Smile
