Moscow!!

Beautiful, nice old buildings, well maintained.. reminiscent of the Past...bustling shopping centres, nice pubs and disco's..people dressed quite well, excellent food..business negotiatations done with a bit of sleazy side to it all the time..ah, interesting city!!!

If you were to pause for a moment and look further, apart from the well maintained tourist sights as u enter the smaller streets away from the centres, u see the real moscow, dirty, buildings falling apart, painting is a thing that does not happen here......mega plasma screen inside half broken apartments with broken floors..........an average shopping centre in Indoneasia would beat the best shopping outlet in terms of size and choices right away....pubs with bad beer(apparently its not advisable to order beer from tap here) discos with excessive cover charges with sleazy people inside....any nice disco would defintiely put on a strip tease show.. the guests love it.. it seems so out of taste!!!!!!!!!!cops hanging around, waiting like rats for 150 roubles, (4US$) no taxi service or should I say the entire Moscow is a BIG taxi service.. u can stop any car and he will take you to your destination u want. Old Western men kissing 18 year old girls and making marriage plans...ah, big bad Moscow!!!!!!!!

English, well, u would probably feel more comfortable in China or South america......Try calling Aeroflot 24 hour help line.. even there u might be lucky to get an english speaking operator.. imagine trying to tell the cops that your money has been stolen.....coz even in the immigration(which says "for foreign passports") there is not a single immigration officer who speaks one word of english........so you can forget about normal places.......apart from the Prostitutes who speak english quite well or bars/pubs that cater to the meat searching male population.

But, once again, if you were to c through all this, u do meet lovely people, very fndly, very funny.........and if u are lucky enough to meet normal girls, russian girls are really nice, beautiful, sexy, dressed well and attractive.. intelligent.....fnldly, funny and with good morals of life, looking for serious relations....... Hard working with aspirations to change their lifes for the better..ah!! she would compete easily with a western girl anyday, easily.........

I had a really funny incident when I asked a girl in a pub where the toilet is. she tried to explain in english and when she realized that she could not show me directions in English, she took my hand, took me right inside the toilet, made me stand in front of the piss-pot and said "piss" she really wanted me to piss!!!! where in the World would u get such a fndly local??

What kind of disco clubs you visited? And sleazy people....? Did you mean yourself? And one more thing about english...how many english speaking people can actually speak another languag
