Hey,
We're heading across, from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok in September/october. (we'll be stopping a few places along the way - not crazy enough to spend all that time on a train)

But, What clothes should we bring? & what weather should we expect?

Thanks a million.
Smile

I would pack for fall and winter. In St. Petersburg it would be a little chilly but when you head out to Vladivostok it will be winter, and cold! Very Happy

Dress a bit warmly if you're not used to cold weather. Temperatures should be below 10 deg C, but not freezing.

Have some warm sweaters and a light jacket or coat and the outershell of the coat should be waterproof. For legs, jeans or some warm pants are fine. Sneakers and hiking boots are ok with wool socks.

It may rain alot, so consider bringing a raincoat or umbrella.

Also, bring a pair of indoor slippers to wear inside the train. You'll be more comfortable.

Im Irish myself and taking the train from Moscow to Beijing. You couldnt give us a bit of info as to where you purchased your tickets. Did you get them from home etc I'm finding it difficult to get decent info as to how to get a ticket which may allow stops. Cheers
