Alright, I have several items for sale.

Item #1 - ~24" tall Lenin statue. Full body, metal, "thoughtful" pose. Base is inscribed, but I can't read any words on it. Signed/numbered by sculptor (definitely a casting, nothing original or insanely unique on this piece, but VERY nice). Purchased from Ukraine. US$35 shipped via UPS Ground. For AK, HI, PR and int'l destinations, please PM or email (casey@caseyhendley.com) for a shipping quote.

Item #2 - 3' x 5' USSR national flag. Hammer/sickle/star a decidedly olive-golden color rather than brighter yellow. Has original Soviet tag, in Cyrillic, not destined for a particular SSR. In perfect shape. Only visible "things" will be the two tack holes at the top corners where it has hung on my bedroom wall in the past. Not designed for flying from a pole, wall display only. This is a cotton flag, not one of those ugly polyester reproductions with the grommets. US$12 shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, your choice.

Item #3 - 3' x 5' USSR national flag. Hammer/sickle/star a nice yellow-golden color. Has original Soviet tag, in Cyrillic, destined for the Latvian SSR (note: this is not the Latvian SSR flag, but rather a USSR flag tagged for issue in Latvia). In perfect shape. No tack holes, no stains, tears, etc. Purchased in Berlin, June 1996. Not designed for flying from a pole, wall display only. This is a genuine, cotton flag, not one of those ugly polyester reproductions with the grommets. Image available on request. US$15 shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, your choice.

Item #4 - Large Lenin flag, apparently congratulating a firm for winning a "socialist competition." Displays Lenin's face prominently in a very heavy screen print/direct embroidery combination. This flag is STOUT, with heavy braid lettering and golden fringe around top, right side of obverse, and bottom of the flag. The left side of the obverse is sewn into a passage to accept a flag pole (preferably with a nice Soviet finial Wink ). Text reads "Proletarians of the world, unite!" at the top, with "Winner, Socialist Competition" at the bottom, albeit in Russian (I don't remember the exact Russian wording - not at home right now). This flag is definitely larger than 3' x 5', and for comparison in the photo, I am 6'1" tall. In nearly perfect shape, purchased from Ukraine, an unusual item which I have never seen offered anywhere else. US$50 shipped via UPS Ground/USPS Priority.

Please ignore the drunken American (me). Cool

Multiple item purchases are indeed open to negotiation. Single item prices are firm. PayPal Preferred!

I'll give 5 bucks for the flag, exactly what it is worth. Razz

First tell your customers what you got it for.

Nice stuff El Casey! Unfortunately I'm out of money! I have to save money to go to Massachusetts next month and buy birthday presents for my friends in August. If it wasn’t for that I would be more than happy to buy some stuff! Smile

All the prices are extremely close to what I paid for each item + a flat rate shipping charge. I'm not gouging anyone, that's for damn sure. I'll give it a few more hours, then all of this stuff is going on eBay.

I believe your prices are fair. It is a good price compared to some other deals I have heard of in the last few days. Don’t mind Agatha, she is anti-Collecting. Confused

I'm anti-pricey junk collecting.Does anyone remember the Pokemon craze about 5 years ago? Hell of a lot of people gouged poor little obsessed kids on those cards.Poor tykes, swindled into giving all their pocket money for a few sheets of cardboard.

A guy I know sold a bootleg Pokemon card with a bogus Sata Shinto whatever his name was autograph to a ten-year-old for 50 bucks at summer camp.He told him it was the 160th Pokemon and that it was one of ten in the world.Hilarious Laughing if you are not the ten-year-old of course.

OMG! Pokemon! That stuff was like crack for kids. I went to real school at the time when it was popular and everyone was always trading those stupid sheets of cardboard in the school yard. Comic book stores in my hometown were selling “rare” cards for as much as $55 and everyone in town dropped the money and got them because they thought it was hot s*it to be collecting Pokemon cards. Rolling Eyes

I only had a few cards though. I think the most money I ever paid for a collectable item was $75.00 but it was worth it. I purchased a Star Trek trading card that was signed by Kate Mullgrew!! Cool

Pokemon was horrendous.Even I spent a shitload of money on it cause you know, I was 12 and knew no better. Very Happy If someone had brains and no scruples, they coulda made a fortune on Pokemon.Someone like Warner Brothers. Rolling Eyes

I would actually commend the little kid who spent his parent's money on crack instead of Pokemon. Very Happy At least crack is something substancial.

Pokemon is crack for kids. Some Pokemon TV episode was responsible for those seizures in Japan some years back.

Sweet baby Christ, you guys know how to get off-topic! Shocked

Can we refrain from discussing Pokemon in a thread where I'm trying to turn a buck? Thanks. Wink
