Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knew how far in advance tickets can be booked for a trip on the trans-siberian railway? I have seen on a number of websites that you should book tickets 6-12 weeks in advance to ensure you get a place on the moscow-beijing train, but when i contacted an agency they told me that tickets cannot be booked until 45 days before departure. Can anybody help?

I have been to Russia and even the people living in Russia can not book their tickets until 45 days prior to departure on any train. So it is true  |
