I don't want to sound like an ass, but you've been getting translation help with what seems like the same girl for some time now. It seems apparent that she doesn't speak english well enough to communicat past simple things, like the things you learn in school (I.E. How are you? Where is the post office? Please pass the salt).
So my question is this; why are you investing so much time in a person that you have a hard time communicating with? Do you plan on learning russian fluently, or expect her to learn english fluently?
Again, i'm making assumptions here, but I think you should do yourself and her a favor and take hard look at what your priorities are here.

Oh, and one more thing. If that note gets translated and you actually figure all that stuff out about her with a letter, let me know. I might try using that on future women in my life to cut down on the learning curve  |

nigel, I think this has taken a turn for the... abnormal. You are practically turning this part of your persoanl life inside out to absloute strangers on a public forum and it doesn't help that this 'romance' sounds like a 13 year old's puppy-love. I don't think this girl would appreciate that either.
I suggest you pay a translation agency a few dollars to get that done properly and privately, should you want to ignore all the comments and advice on the relationship itself that has been posted here and in the other thread so far. |

I think there's no need to delete the whole thread. Even if beer was the explaination, it's still an explaination. However I will lock the thread should there be any flames.
