You can usually find people selling these things from kiosks off the street. You just have to look for them. Wink

Some acquaintances of mine sell genuine Russian and Soviet flags on the Internet. Here's the link: http://bornintheussr.com/flags.htm

What is genuine? You mean it should have the right sizes and proportions? If you'd like it as REAL as real can be, I can suggest you to order one. There must be companies that make flags on demand like in other countries.

I have found that most flags are mass-produced in places like China. I have seen some American flags here that are made in China.

If you are looking for an authentic flag from Russia, you should try eBay. I purchased an authentic Albania flag from that country’s Communist era. People constantly sell things like that on there.

Why does it matter where the flag was made? Russia? China or elsewhere? I recently bought a Russian flag from Amazon. It came from a Canadian company but had some sort of "made in North America" thing with it which I thought was silly...

It reminds me of the question that came up during the cartoon protests of "where are the protestors getting their Danish flags?"...

I don't care if they are made on Mars, personally. Laughing I buy them where ever I can because I live in an area where it is hard to find international flags. Neutral

I bought my Russian flag at my local county fair. Smile It’s beautiful, made of high quality materials. I bought a Polish flag from the same woman too.

Oh! Why didn't you say that before? Shocked

I know of a very nice man who sell Russian presidential and government flags...made in Russia.

Link: http://russianmade.com/

His stock changes so he may be out of them now but; he also sells many other authentic, Russian government items, as well as Soviet. Last year this man had a poster from Vladimir Putin's presidential campaign from 2004 on eBay. But I didn't have the money for it at the time. Sad

I have done some investigating. There is a shop in Moscow called "Militarist", they sell all of the flags and military collectables you could ever dream of. Smile

Here is a web link with instructions to find them, in English: http://www.militarist.ru/parser.php?portal=eng&PHPSESSID=b0227189388680f9e5c22b29c5f6b13a
