anyone heard of/visited Kitezh? I found it on the web about a year ago and am planning to go there in April next year. It's a small community set up for foster families to take children in; an alternative to the appaling state-run orphanages.
Also found it on lonely planet site - it was listed as one of the top volunteering holidays in Europe! http://www.lonelyplanet.com/journeys/feature/volunteering06.cfm
There's some info available on the web but if anyone's actually been there and could tell me something more about it I'd love to hear from them.
