Thanks. I'm happy to accomodate. No one was talking about anything here, so I can't imagine how I could make it any more boring. Would you like to talk about your rice-burner Camry? |

Hey thanks BC! Never seen it before, and definitely worth having bookmarked! So far, I've done an adultrated version of the guitars Garcia played. One of his was layered with different woods, and I even heard that one had a layer of brass, making it a whopping 13.5 pounds. One I finished, and named "Dasha," after my friend's little girl weighs in at 9.5 pounds....it's walnut....very pretty, but a bit heavy for a lil feller like myself. I'll try to post what photos I have on my flickr account and then invite you there if I'm not able to post here.
Keep warm.
We have crazy weather here in Terrapin Station!
Yesterday was like spring, today is like winter......I own a swimming pool company, so I'm ready for work like you cannot imagine!!!!! I figure one more month of relaxing and then it's 14 hour days until September.
Good stuff!
Take care my friend!1 |
You're welcome. Jerry was an awesome musician. I will look forward to seeing the finished products.
Today was very warm, but I still managed to get in a skidoo ride.
The first job I ever had in my life was installing in ground swimming pools with my dad. I'm getting my equipment ready for 12 hour days too. |
Bud....What is a skidoo ride? |

Oh, sorry about that. Skidoo is actually a brand name. Us Canadians just call them all skidoos. I remember when I was young, we used to put a couple bottles of wine under the seat. We called it " Skidoo Juice" Sure kept you warm out in the boonies. Well. not as warm as a girl on the back could, but it helped |

Jerry was by far one of the finest guitarist to become famous!
Personally, I think there can be bad spice in a recipe....
Criticism is okay, but for no reason?
Crawl in your NYC hole and live with the rats, or be nice.
I've been rather quiet about such things until now, and I honestly don't give a flip about an immigrant talking trash about a good neighbor!
Tell you what...let's you, me & BC camp in the forest for a week around spring and then let's see what we can understand about the universe!
I'm game......you got it in you? Bet my life BC will be for it!
(oh, and manhatan doesn't qualify for "nature")

I guess I helped too Mr. Spice.
Sorry if I wasted some of your time.
It's just a cold, lazy day down here in Terrapin Station and I was a little bored.
I'll try to reply only to things that everyone will be interested in.....or maybe even flirt with some girls here.
Those topics seem to be interesting don't they?
 |
Ah!!..Spicey doesn't mind really...he likes to aggravate BC...but, he is only kidding....I say Spicey should start a new topic..What do you think?...We need some spice in this forum....No pun intended.... |
Nah, Spice is an unhappy person.
Don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that.
There is real hate for BC because he is living REAL LIFE!
I admire BC because of it.
Some folks look to wallstreet, 401-k's and such for happiness.
Others find different methods of finding happiness.
It's been true since the beginning of time.
I say.....enjoy NCY and the RATS, SPICE!
LMFAO!
Still will go camping with you ANYTIME YOU SAY.......DRUGA! |

So, working and trying to maintain a decent living for your family is not REAL LIFE? |

Yes, Spice is very obviously unhappy. But I hold no ill will toward him. There are worse people in the world. I was building a house last year for two of the most miserable people I've ever met in my life. I eventually had to quit helping them. I own a lot of things. I don't care about money, I never have. I own two houses, but frankly living in my motorhome, in the forest is way more fun. I am camping 24 hours a day, I have hundreds of miles of forest trails to enjoy. I get up in the morning, and there are 8 of 9 whitetail deer standing 20 ft from my door, licking the salt block I put out for them. I have done more things in my life than Spice could ever dream of. I suppose he can't have the kind of conversations I can with people, because I have done all these things that I discuss with others. So he chooses to say nasty things so that he can let us all know that he is still here. I'm a proud Canadian, hardly capable of hating people. We are famous for that trait. And I have many many friends, in America. My favourite people in the entire world live in America. |

I don't think thats the point, Jojo. There's a difference between earning a living, and living itself. Nobody is better than anyone else here, so the insults and condescending attittudes that a couple of people project are neither necessary, nor productive. We all choose our own path, and if even if others don't agree, they at least deserve to have their views respected. IMHO |

| There are all sorts of paths in life and many ways to live...I think life is nothing more than a continuation of experience...once the experiences stop then perhaps so does life. No matter rich or poor in the end nothing comes with us...just our souls. So I think the key to life is having and maintaining our souls. For in the end that is really what we get to take with us and leave for others. |

This really is a despicable post on many levels. And that dude Kesha - he should also shut up about me. This forum's goal is to talk about Russia, its culture and everything related to Russia. That's what I commented about. As much as it's great that there are some people out there that can afford not to work, live in a bus (and call it home), drive all fire trucks and not have any real family, financial or other obligations, and ride snowmobile all day (even when there's no snow) - why come here and talk about things that have nothing to do with this forum? And when I suggest that we should at least sometimes stick to the subject, I get attacked. WHo cares if yorbcbud is a proud Canadian? There's nothing to be proud about anyway. He struck gold when he was born in a very safe, wealthy and socially liberal country when he can live comfortably doing virtually nothing, while some child in Cambodia has works 16-hour days for $5/day. I am sure that child would love to come to Canada and be as proud to be a Canadian as yorbcbud.... |

Yes true...and actually a lot of good can come from this forum. I've used the visa services here, found good information, had some good conversations, learned about russia, and actually have made personal connections with others. WTR is a positive place. I guess whether we are attacking NYC, Sorrento Canada, Kentucky, Russia, Italy, England, France, Austrailia, or where ever...honestly what is the point...none of us really know each other. Well except for me and one other member. And also in my case I have someone else here on the forum that reports everything back to my former interest in Russia...and that person-well as I stated will never have what I had.
We never know who sees what we post or who else is out there...I'm sure all of us are good people with the best intentions and all of us are here to share our world and our interests in Russia. And who knows maybe even friendships are made...and maybe even romance. But the bickering and the attacks don't really serve any purpose...other than just to waste all of our own's time. There's enough problems in the world. As far as life in Cambodia...beautiful place...wouldn't want to live there though...at least not on $5.00 a day |

I think you should stop double dosing on your medication. Go back and read what it says in the description line of " Talk Lounge". Better yet, I'll do it for you.
| Quote: | | This is a general forum and you are welcome to talk just about anything you want here. For example, you could tell us about your home town or recommend a nice book, and so on.. |
It doesn't say anything about beastiality comments, ball scratching, masturbating, etc etc. YOU are the one who is out of line here. Kesha simply pointed out how stupid you look, and, as has been shown in the past, you don't like that.
I think you really are just jealous that I can do whatever I want all day, and you have to work your ass off just to maintain the facade of being a well to do person. I bet you can barely afford the pretense that is Spice.
I give money to charities all the time, I truly doubt that you do, ( your giant ego wouldn't allow that). Come on man, do us all a huge favour, and shut up, okay? You talk crap, and you are extremely offensive. There are many more than just me who think that. |
