What's the cheapest and easiest way to travel from the airport to the city centre?
I understand that there are 'limited' bus services from VVO to a train station just outside the city, then you have to transfer to another train/bus that takes you to city centre.
Would it be difficult to do this when you don't speak Russian? |

You'll find plenty of gypsy cab's that'll ferry you in. Just negotiate price or caryy US 40 and see what they say. The drivers will spot your "stunned mullet" look a mile off once you've made it out of customs .
