A US citizen, my visa was taken with my passport in Kiev. (Take care on the metro!) The Russian embassy is there, and I was told it's 15 (working?) days to process an entirely new application. Though I did so online last time with waytorussia's help, it seems that a travel agency specializing in visas would be easiest/best at this point. In part, also because I was given a recommendation of such by the man (English speaker) at the Embassy himself. Of course, that agency was in Kiev and time ran out on my short visit there, now I'm in Nikolaev. The other part is, obviously now I am not as able to deal with the Embassy in San Francisco as I was before.
If there were an agency here in Nikolaev, that would be best and fastest and easiest, wouldn't it? Anyone? I'm trying to salvage my trip. I had/have a good place to stay in St Petersbueg, and it would be a shame to waste this opportunity. |

Well, today I'm at the Consulate in Odessa, and getting nowhere.
Still need an agency recommendation (I guess? Assuming I can't do it with help from the consulate.)) |
