| Hi! I am thinking about going to Russia next year. I am not yet sure about how long and which itinerary. Moreover, my budget is small. I am thinking about watching the military parade on VE day, and also dropping by Volgograd. As a matter of fact I am not sure about what to look for as interesting places to visit. I am mostly interested in everything related to USSR history and technology in general, such as military hardware, fighters, space technology, etc. Visiting interesting places in the country, small cities would also be great. Any tip for interesting sites, guides, etc.? Also, I could not find a train to Volgograd from Moscow. Which stop or station should I look for? |

There are certain agencies which provide tourism services online. These services range from the booking of flights and hotel accommodation, coordinating with overseas agencies in the case of packaged tours etc.
http://www.extremeelements.com. I think this would assist you. |

| If you're interested in the USSR technologies etc. you should visit the museums (you will find plenty of them in Moscow/St.-Petersburg), but be ready that many of such museums are still not "international-visitor-ready". So you'll have to find a guide/translator to have full perception of the exibitions. |
