Hi Everyone,

My trip to Russia will be spent camping in the Siberian Forest in the Surgut area. I'm a minimal backpacker. I'm traveling with a small carry-on backpack. I have a very restricted diet, therefore I plan to fill my backpack up with food for camping. My food will consist of dried fruit, seeds and some nutritious powders.

Do you think I will have a problem getting through the aiport customs department? Do you think they will confiscate my food? The food I plan on taking is expensive.

I'm very grateful for your attention and any advice you may share!

You'll have no worries.

If I were you, though...

I wouldn't bring any seeds or powders through customs unless they were in their original containers and are clearly labeled as to what they are. Just in case.

Smile
