Hallo I am thinking of driving from Warsaw to Vladivostock in a few months. On my own (I am a female). Is it safe? How should I start preparing? What should I know? Books? Links? anything will be extremely appreciated. Suzuki Swift - is it going to make it? Places I should visist? Places I should definitely keep away from? I am so looking forward to your posts. Thank you!

I have no answer to your question, however you should read "The Linger Longer" by Chris Raven & Simon Raven, two guys who drove from the UK to Vladivostock

I think your car is not suitable for a such long trip. You should mean no-road or very bad road between Chita and Khabarovsk (1500 km). If you want it so much, you'll overcome, though. Be ready to agressive way of driving (comparatively to Europe). Don't cross middle solid lines on the roads: it extremely angers policemen. Try to keep the tank full while going Estern Siberia and Far East and use big brand petrol stations only. In whole there's nothing to afraid in Russia. Fuel is cheap. All roads are free. Females welcome!
