I have been traveling to Russia for 3 years now and I stay in hotels. Now it's time to begin reseaching apartments. My stay is usually 10 days.
I would like to stay in an apartment that will sleep 3. I want access to the center city and in a safe area. I would like to see the apartments this October when I arrive so that over the coming years I can feel like I have a place to stay that I have seen. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Thanks

Please, see http://waytorussia.net/Services/ApartmentsMoscow.html
We list apartments of the main Moscow short-term operators, so there's a good choice and you can reserve them through the internet. |

Yeah waytorussia.net rents apt's online... Or in more proper terms... they LIST them on line...
If you ever answer your booking request I guess you would / could rent them...
(sent 3 times)
Or answered your email when someone sends a request for apt information.... again you could rent them...
(sent 2 emails each from devilman_96@hotmail.com & mike96@adelphia.net)
Or if you answered the phone when one calls about renting an apt... You could also proably rent them.....
(called Moscow 4 times from Florida, yes during "business hours")
Visa support seems to work about the same.. Only I gave up a bit faster after sending the second request and 1 email.. Then went elsewhere..
Great site... Lots of Information... A little slow on the "replies" for services through... (4 weeks later, im not waiting but I am wondering how long it will take yet) |

I'm sorry about your experience, but, as you wrote, we only LIST apartments on the site, but can't guarantee that the operators will reply. It is their business, not ours, although we are trying to make them work better.
In your case the problem might be that you tried to book only one apartment and/or with only one operator and they didn't have anything available.
I can recommend you to choose a different apartment and send your request again. Most probably you will receive a confirmation for a different apartment. Some landlords, who have cheaper apartments, most of the time are completely booked, so they are not very active in responding that they don't have anything.
If nothing happens again, please, give me your full name, e-mail (you can leave it as a private message for waytorussia) and I will see why the operators haven't replied to you. |

As for visa support, most of the time they don't reply only because:
1) The e-mail provided was not valid (mistyped).
2) They try to send the invitation by fax number provided, but it's not valid or nobody replies.
So, if you want to get a reply for visa support fast, within 1 day, please, check the data you provide in the application form.
By the way, a couple of times this Summer, when I received such complaints I wrote a very "angry" letter to visa support asking why these two requests were not replied. It turned out that the client forgot to gave the fax number, or provided a wrong e-mail, so in fact it was not their fault completely... The clients themselves realized the mistake a few days after...
It is just to say that we wouldn't advertise the services of this visa company if their service was bad. There are many companies on the market and we chose the best.[/b] |
