GLONASS

#glonass – the global navigational system implemented by Russia is the only functional satellite positioning system apart from GPS. It’s one of the very few technological achievements of the recent decades. In order to make the system popular, Russian authorities banned the sale of any positioning devices that do not have a GLONASS chip, so now even an iPhone has it.
