Solncestoyanie Festival (21-23 June)

Solncestoyanie is a historic reconstruction of the old slavic holiday with beautiful swimming rituals, round dance, big fires and walking on the hot coal. The festival is dedicated to summer solstice – the most powerful time in a year to awake the energy and set intentions. One of the goals is to reunite with nature and switch off from the hectic city vibes in a peaceful forest area. The festival is alcohol free, vegetarian and promotes healthy activities. The program is full of crafty workshops, sport events, group games and, of course, folk music performances. Another feature of the festival is bio market of home-made food, clothes, cosmetics and diy accessories. Solncestoyanie is an interesting event for those who are looking for unusual experiences or are into learning more about the traditional Russian culture.

There will be a possibility to book a room in the rest house “Buzim” or reserve a place in the camping area.

When: mid June (21-23 June 2019)

Price: 1600-1900 rub (€22-26)

Where: Mira Village, “Buzim” rest house.

How to get there: There will be a transfer from the center of city Krasnoyarsk to the festival. The ride to the festival is around 40-50 minutes. The meeting point is at Alekseev square, near the shopping center “Planeta”.
