Opulence Kazan style this 4-star hotel is like an middle east palace with some post 90s Russian influences. Definitely some of the most authentic places in the city, the rooms are large and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, all the amenities, including high-speed internet, are also there.
 
Rooms start at €100 per night for a double, which is a good deal considering what you get. The only drawback is that you need to walk about 15 minutes to the Kremlin or the train station, but then the area around the hotel is also good for exploring the city.
