Godzilla's Hostel is the first proper hostel opened in Moscow. One of its main advantages is that it has both dorms and doubles, so you can get a nice hotel room for the price of a hostel. The vibe at the hostel is pretty friendly: they have a common area and a kitchen, so it's a good spot to meet fellow travelers. 
 
The location is pretty nice: not far from Tsvetnoy Boulevard area, which is home to many great Moscow bars and restaurants. Situated on the ground floor of a residential building Godzilla's Hostel is tucked into one of those typical central Moscow residential streets — quiet and quaint. There's also a very good Retunsky yoga studio in the house next door.
 
The prices of room differ depending on quality: dorm beds start at €15 per night, while a double starts at €50 per night. Godzillas can also offer a registration for your visa, if you need it. The reception can also offer a lot of advice on traveling around Russia and the best places to see in Moscow.
