Losiny Ostrov Park

This huge national park is actually a forest in the East-North of Moscow. Starting from Sokolniki park, it continues into the kilometers of wild forests, where you can still see animals and meet an occasional maniac if you go there late in the night. Great for some afternoon adventures and to escape hectic Moscow life. But make sure you know your way back – it’s too easy to get lost. metro Sokolniki walk from the metro towards the park and then through the park to Losiny Ostrov.
