registration of visa in St Petersburg

0 votes
Hi,
Two questions.
I plan on visiting Moscow first and then St Petersburg.

I assume I will have to register my visa in Moscow after arriving in Moscow.
And I will again have to register in St Petersburg after arriving in St Petersburg.

On the "Russian Tourist Visa Support Application" page, there is a dropdown for "registration" and we can select "register in Moscow - $35.00".    This allows us to pre-pay for the registration service.

There is no such option to pre-pay for registering in St Petersburg.
[Q1] So does this mean Ill need to go to the Alliance Travel office, pay them the fee, and they will then register my visa?

[Q2] Even if pre-paying for Moscow registration, I will still actually need to go to your trusted agent in Moscow to actually have them register it, correct?

1 Yes, you can use this agency,
2 Yes, because the registration is done by putting a stamp on a paper that is attached to your passport. So you need to be physically present for this.
