Is there an advantage to pursuing duel, US- Russian, citizenship?

I am an American born US citizen. Both of my parents were born in Russia.
I speak Russian. I'm  Russian Orthodox Christian. Is there an advantage to pursuing duel citizenship? I've not been to Russia. ..yet.
