Visa registration less than 7 days

+1 vote
I am planning a trip to Russia (Moscow and StP) that will be less than 7 business days in total. Will I at any point need to register my visa? If not, does it matter what hotel I select when applying for visa support via your website? And I would assume I don't need to pay for the extra registration service you offer?

Reason I ask is that I am planning on using airbnb but have not got round to selecting a place but would like to get my visa organised.

No, you don't need to register if you're staying less than 7 working days and there's no need to pay extra for this service either.

It matters which hotel you choose because you should put the same application on your visa application form. However, of course you can then choose to stay somewhere else, if you find a room on AirBnB, for example.

By the way, if you book a room, follow this link so you can get €22  off your reservation – https://www.airbnb.com/c/dparanyushkin?s=8 (they'll give us the same amount, so it's a win-win:)
