Can I use the Bar and Restaurant car from 3rd class

Hi All,

I want to travel 3rd class on the trans Siberian express from Moscow to Beijing.

If I do this will I have access to the bar and food carriages? If so, how much is food and beer? If I sit and eat and drink all day can I sit in these areas and look outside as much as I like or are they only open at specific times?

I am about to buy a train ticket in kupe from Ulan-Ude to Vladivostok and I don't know if it is better to buy top or down place. I had thought of choosing the top one because it is cheaper and maybe more quiet, but I want to watch often at the landscape. I wonder if it is possible to do that from the top beds.
And I wonder also about the security. In the lower beds if I remember right there is a place to put your things under the bed. But how about the top bed? Is there something for the luggage?

To whom it may concern.
My friend and I would like to buy online tickets at your site to travel to the Transsiberian Railroad - and we tried to make a reservation Ulan Batar - Ulan Ude for the January the 3rd 2017, but it is not clear how we can get our tickets. We are from Serbia, and we would like to get tickets (reservations) by email and then print them at Ulan Bator train station or somewhere in Russia before we get there, but at your site there's no that possibility for given destination (although there's an explanation how to do it) - just a paper ticket, possible to pick up at some office. Considering that we will travel in the Winter and that we will stay in Ulan Batar just a few hours, that is not an option for us.
So, my question is: could we have our reservation confirmations by email and print it in Moscow as other tickets from and to the Russian cities?

Does the Port Baikal to Listvyanka ferry run after the Circum-Baikal train arrives in March?

I'm planning to take the Circum-Baikal railway on the 6th March from Slyudyanka to Port Baikal. However, the only available hotel room I could find in Port Baikal is very expensive (14,000 roubles a night!) and it looks like the last ferry leaves about 3 hours before the train arrives, as there are fewer crossings in winter. Is there any way to get to Listvyanka, where there are more accommodation options, after the train arrives? Or is there a cheaper place to stay that I can book in advance in Port Baikal?

I have a Russian visa valid until April 2017. When I visited Russia in 2014 I had to have an invitation and submit a complete itinerary in order to get the visa. I am considering a solo train trip across Russia later this year. My travel plans would be flexible and subject to change on a whim so I don't know the itinerary in advance and really would not know most of my lodging. So the question is whether I can simply buy the airline tickets and my first railroad ticket and show up at Moscow passport control without a problem or do I have to make detailed written plan?
