I then want to catch the ferry to Olkhorn Island and then travel on to Irkutsk. I've heard the ferry didn't run to Ust Barguzin in 2016 and wont be running in 2017. I'm travelling in August 2017. can anyone confirm this? If not what other alternatives are there to get to Olkhorn by water?
