#biomechanics of Meyerhold was a system of understanding how human body works for the purpose of creating better theater performers. Faced with the low quality of actor work after the October revolution, Vladimir Meyerhold developed an easy-to-follow system that was supposed to quickly turn any worker into an agile performer, who would be able to perform the most demanding physical feats and act on stage. In his work Meyerhold was inspired by the work of Taylor who studied the most optimal body use for industrial production.
