Music is a very special realm, a universal language, which allows people to connect on emotional level bypassing the limitations of language, space and time. In this section, we present the most interesting contemporary music that has a relation to the Russian culture. Not all of the bands come from Russia, but some of them sing in Russian and some have a big following in the former USSR.

Tatarka is a hiphop artist from Tatarstan in Russia, she has a good vibe in her sound and she sings in Tatar, which adds something very authentic to her tracks.

Cream Soda has the sound which can be described as smooth pop, sometimes reminiscent of the dreamy musical landscapes of Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, sometimes going into a more dancy, upbeat direction.
