Tellury
#tellury – the element stored in the entrails of Eastern Siberia is known to be some of the heaviest materials and has a very high energy extraction ratio. Rumor has it that a small piece of this element can produce as much energy as 1000 Hiroshima bombs. It also has the capacity to store information in its highly complex matrix structure.
The recent book of Vladimir Sorokin “Telluria” takes place in the middle of XXI century in Russia and Europe transformed into small principalities, each striving to get its share of Tellury necessary for survival.
Telluria Pavilion can be found in Venice Bienniale.
