Winzavod Galleries

Winzavod
Located at the territory of a former factory, Winzavod is one of the oldest contemporary art gallery spaces in Moscow and definitely the most well-known one. It houses several dozens of galleries, as well as exhibition spaces and restaurants. While the newer Garage art center is probably a sure bet if you want an artsy day out, Winzavod is interesting because you are much more likely to find the cutting-edge stuff of emerging local artists there. It's worth checking the schedule, however, before going there.
