First time overseas, going to Moscow, Please help?

I'm a young American and I've never been out of my country, though I've traveled over the US. The current plan is to stay in Moscow between December 22nd and 31st. I will be staying in a hostel.

No one in my family has ever done something like this before, so I don't really have anyone to help walk me through the process. (I looked at your how-to guide and I learned a lot that no one else was teaching me.) But, I'd really like to know more...?

Since I'm going to Moscow, do I need to pay a Moscow registration fee?

All of this will be online? I don't live near an embassy or anything.

Feel free to ask me any questions, of course. Just looking for a bit more information before I had over 30$!

Hey well basically it's very easy, you just get the visa support letter on http://waytorussia.net/Travel/VisaSupport.html

Then you get your visa.

Once you get your visa, book your flights, book your hotel and you travel there.

Regarding the registration – the hostel will register your visa for you.

No problem all super easy.
