Web Programmer
Ways Ltd (UK)
– an internet media company, the owner of Way to Russia Guides
– is looking for a programmer to support its existing
projects and participate in developing the new ones.
Your responsibilities will include html coding, programming (mostly
PHP), designing optimal database structures, code optimization,
API portal integration, following internal code standard specifications.
Requirements
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, cross-browser coding (including Safari
and mobile platforms)
Perfect knowledge of PHP 4/5, SQL (MySQL), JavaScript, AJAX, MVC
paradigm.
Ability to integrate with external APIs, XML knowledge, and also
– basic knowledge of OpenSocial, RSS, OpenID and other
Web 2(3).0 implementations.
Basic knowledge of Engish.

and our own educational programs).

After that you'll get a test task (max duration - 1 hour), which
you should complete and send back to us for evaluation.
Conditions
Your starting wage will be 1000 - 1500 EUR ($1400 - $2100 US)
per month, depending on your qualification during the first three
months with a possible increase after the initial 3-month period,
depending on the quality of your work and results (up to 2000 EUR
- $2700 US).
You can work from your home (if you live in Berlin, you can work
in the office, if you wish), full employment (160 hours per month),
but flexible working schedule.
You will have a contract between you and Ways Ltd, which, among
other things, will outline regular wage increase, as well as provide
30-day paid vacancy (you will choose when and how long).
We guarantee stability and constant growth of your professional

Full Time & Part Time Writers
We're looking
for talented writers to contribute to Way to Russia and our international
guides on part-time or full-time basis. No matter where you're based
in the world, if you've got an interesting and original style, we
want you!
Your responsibilities will be to write feature articles for our
guides, update existing information, translate current materials,
update event listings.
You can be based anywhere in the world, so it's a perfect job for
travel.
Requirements
You don't need any experience, you don't even need to know English
so well. All we ask is that you send us a couple of sample original
reviews in your native language: one of a hotel, one of a club,
each with a photo that you took. Make sure it has Way to Russia
style: original, unbiased, critical, and engaging (it might help
to look through our guides before,
to get an idea what we want).

per month, depending on your working schedule and qualification.
After the 3-month probabation period we will probably increase your
salary.
You can work from your home (if you live in Berlin, you can work
in the office, if you wish) or while you travel. Your schedule will
be totally flexible, but you will have deadlines.
If you want, you can have a contract between you and Ways Ltd, which,
among other things, will outline regular wage increase, as well
as provide 30-day paid vacancy (you will choose when and how long).

Ways Ltd (the owner of Way to Russia Guides) was founded in 2000
and has the main office in UK and an office in Berlin. Since 2001
we've been creating information portals, online travel guides, online
reservation services.
Our company has a small staff of more than 10 people, mainly journalists,
web-designers and programmers. They work from several locations
