Russian visa, double entry dates clarification

+1 vote
The Russian visa requirement: "ensure dates of entry and exit match with or fall within period specified in supporting document". I am staying at a hotel in St Petersburg for 3 days and then taking 11 day Baltic cruise returning to St Petersburg before flying out on that same day. The supporting doc from the hotel supports the first 3 days in St Petersburg only. What support doc supports the actual exit date which is the cruise return date?

Well, you need to get a different kind of visa support that would cover your whole trip. But the question is whether you leave Russia during your cruise. If you do, you need double-entry business visa because the double-entry tourist one is only valid if you travel out and in through a CIS state (which is not your case because it's probably one of the Baltic states or Finland that you'll be going to). So I'd suggest to contact your cruise company and ask them or alternatively, if you really want to be sure, get a double-entry business visa: http://waytorussia.net/Services/VisaSupport/Business.html

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
