Mordovia Arena

As many others stadiums in Russia construction works of Mordovia Arena or Saransk Stadium was speeded up and completed specially for FIFA 2018. The design in a shape of a shell is believed to represent the sun, warmth, openness and hospitality being able to host 45000 spectators.

The best thing about Mordovia Arena is that it is located in a walking distance from the city center on the flood plain of the River Insar, between Volgogradskaya and Sevastopolskaya Streets.

During FIFA 2018 the Stadium will host four games on 16th, 19th, 25th and 28th of June.

After the Worldcup it will become a base for home matches of the local Mordovian FC.
