German Vinogradov's performances are always on the border of ritual. Every Friday he stages a live fire performance-musical-ritual in his apartment in the center of Moscow for a few guests. In this performance he uses various found constructed objects made of out metal, pipes, debris of machines and various other remnants of civisilization, combining them with fire, water, earth and air - producing an engulfing experience, which is especially strong considering you're at an apartment on the Garden Ring... There is something very real about his ability to work with materials and to make life come through the basic Element in a very sincere and direct way.
